Iron Maiden
One of the original 80s New Wave of British Heavy Metal bands, and without doubt the most successful. Now back with Bruce Dickenson behind the mic, Iron Maiden are regarded as the greatest metal band of them all, their inspiration spreading far and wide and spanning all ages. Few bands can claim to have kept their original audience and successfully enticed on board a new generation, who weren't even in the cradle when the band first hit the stage running! Yet Iron Maiden have achieved just this in their 25 years plus career.

Pennywise
The genesis of Pennywise can be traced back to the South Bay 1988 when punk couldn't be less popular and metal ruled the roost. The four original members of Pennywise immediately crafted a style all its own-a tidal wave of California hardcore, melodic surf punk and optimistic anthems that went against the seek-and-destroy ethos of its era. Ignite vocalist Zoli Teglas recently joined the Pennywise fold, replacing the band's former vocalist Jim Lindberg.

Saxon
After more than 35 years and 13 million albums sold worldwide, Saxon are still relentless and passionate as they were back in the days of 'Wheels of Steel' and 'Denim and Leather'. The influential heavy metal outfit has been an inspiration for the likes of Metallica and Megadeth and a front-runner for the New Wave of British Heavy Metal sweeping the nation in the late 70s-early 80s.

Korn
Emerging from the depths of Bakersfield, California with a sound unlike any other in 1994, Korn have been able to cement themselves as one of the most important bands in rock n' roll history. The band may have changed members with Brian 'Head' Welch and David Silveria departing in 2005 and 2006 respectively, but Jonathan, Munky, Fieldy and Ray capture the feeling that was there in the beginning.

Killswitch Engage
Killswitch Engage first shook the structure of heavy music upon climbing out of snowy industrialized Western Massachusetts in 2000. The band pioneered a union of thrashed-out European guitar pyrotechnics, East Coast hardcore spirit, on-stage hijinks, and enlightened lyricism that set the pace for what the turn-of-the-century deemed heavy.
