Camp Bestival

Deer Shed Festival
Dates: July 24th to July 27th
Location: Topcliffe, North Yorkshire
Headliners: Stereolab, Cate Le Bon, Ghostpoet
Deer Shed's 11th edition is a wonderful cultural family event in a gloriously sun-filled area of the Yorkshire countryside. It boasts 4 stages of music, as well as child-friendly comedy shows, spoken word and theatre. There's plenty of outdoor activities and workshops for all ages to enjoy that range from stone carving to comedy classes!
Isle of Wight Festival
Dates: June 11th to June 14th
Location: Newport, Isle Of Wight
Headliners: Lionel Richie, Lewis Capaldi, Duran Duran
Isle of Wight Festival is one of the biggest festivals in the UK and has Lionel Richie and Lewis Capaldi performing this year. The Festival has a dedicated family camping area and a 'Kidzone' stage that has seen theatre, magic and circus shows, and Peppa Pig perform there in the past. Plus, weekend tickets for children are very affordable (under 5's go free, ages 6-12 are a fiver) there's no need to worry about breaking the bank by bringing the kids.
Gloworm Festival
Dates: August 15th - August 16th
Location: Newark, Nottinghamshire
Line up includes: CBeebies, Twist & Pulse, The Lancashire Hotpots
Gloworm is a dedicated family-only festival that encourages kids to be carefree in a welcoming environment. For the little ones, the event includes live performances from children's TV favourites which includes a special CBeebies zone this year. Children can enjoy age-appropriate & engaging workshops, creative experiences and meet & greets throughout the electrifying 2-day event.
Latitude Festival
Dates: July 16th - July 19th
Location: Southwold, Suffolk
Headliners - Haim, Liam Gallagher, The Chemical Brothers
Latitude is a multi-genre festival that comprises of music, comedy, theatre and even more. It has a separate family camping area and offers children a variety of activities and workshops to try in 3 distinct areas for kids, teens and families. It's no wonder why it won Best Family Festival at the UK Festival Awards in 2018.
Haim, Liam Gallagher and The Chemical Brothers are headlining so expect this year's Latitude Festival to be another incredible weekend of live entertainment for all.
Wychwood Festival
Dates: May 29th - May 31st
Location: Cheltenham
Wychwood Festival is a truly family-friendly weekend event at the unique venue of Cheltenham Racecourse. It has attractions and workshops scattered around the festival site and has performances on its dedicated family stage on all 3 days. Wychwood even has a literary section called Story Box where the little ones can see authors and illustrators bring their favourite stories to life.
The Big Family Festival
Dates: July 30th to August 2nd
Location: Sutton Coldfield
The Big Family Festival is a 3-day spectacular that all the family will enjoy.
Expect to see live performances from your kids' favourite TV shows and experience some of the 100 activities that are offered - these include science shows, family bingo, lip sync battles and many, many more. Previous years' performers have included Basil Brush, Sooty and The Moomins.
