NOS Alive '20

Discover your top matches amongst the lineup via our Lineup finder

Taking place each July in the western outskirts of Lisbon, NOS Alive is one of Portugal's biggest and best music festivals.

Although others may have been around longer, the festival having started just over a decade ago in the summer of 2007, not many can boast the same pedigree of past performers or impact on a global scale.

And while the lineup is a major reason why music fans come back year after year – with international stars of rock, indie and alternative music accompanied by underground electronic favourites, rappers and more – the festival can also boast an enviable location, situated on the banks of Tagus River in one of Europe's most vibrant cities.

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift appearing at this event

Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Taylor Swift, is a global superstar, multi GRAMMY winner and the youngest winner in history of the music industry's highest honour, the GRAMMY Award for Album of the Year. Taylor is the only artist in music history to have an album (2010's Speak Now, 2012's RED and 2014's 1989) hit the 1 million plus first-week sales figure three times in the US. She is the first artist since the Beatles (and the only female artist in history) to log six or more weeks at #1 in the U.S. with three consecutive studio albums. She’s a household name whose insanely catchy yet deeply personal self-penned songs transcend music genres, and a savvy businesswoman who has built a childhood dream into an empire.

Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish appearing at this event

With an appetite for the gliding, glassy indie-pop of artists like Aurora and Lana Del Rey and the distorted menace of Tyler the Creator and Earl Sweatshirt, Billie Eilish listens to music the way that most watch movies, entirely undefined by genre. This bleeds through into her own unique style of music, calling out lyrics with a mix of heartbreak and damaged indifference. Billie Eilish is officially the first artist born this millennium to achieve both a No. 1 album and single, and is now the third female solo artist in the 31-year history with multiple songs topping the Billboard Alternative Songs airplay chart (alongside Alanis Morrissette and Sinead O’Connor). 'Bad Guy' also hit #1 in the Pop Songs airplay chart after leading the Alternative Songs airplay. Her album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 album chart, has returned to the top spot two additional times within the same year, and was 2019’s best-selling album in North America. Billie Eilish graced the cover of Rolling Stone, V and ELLE, and has amassed more that 17-billion combined global streams as of late 2019.
