The group’s subsequent four LPs (Room On Fire, First Impressions Of Earth, Angles, Comedown Machine) and headline shows across the globe has seen their profile continue to rise – also buoyed by their respective individual projects and collaborations – with lead singer Julian Casablancas even linking up with French electronic pioneers Daft Punk on their UK #1 album, Random Access Memories.

With an appetite for the gliding, glassy indie-pop of artists like Aurora and Lana Del Rey and the Distorted Menace of Tyler the Creator and Earl Sweatshirt, Billie Eilish listens to music the way that most watch movies, entirely undefined by genre. This bleeds through into her own unique style of music, calling out lyrics with a mix of heartbreak and damaged indifference.
First releasing her own music at the age of 14, Billie became a worldwide sensation at the age of 17, amassing hundreds of millions on views on YoutTube.

He crafts songs which are at once stripped-back yet explosive, his emotive vocals being both soaring and intimate with R&B influenced percussion. His tracks have amassed over 50 million plays across streaming platforms.
"His voice is fusion of Gary Lightbody and Foy Vance, but it’s intensified by his addition of production and a slightly hip-hop leaning beat. But one thing was consistent - each song is a cataclysm of emotion" - Spindle Magazine.

Jarvis Cocker was at the heart of the 90s Britpop scene as frontman of Pulp, who released four albums during the decade, most notably 'His 'n' Hers' and 'Different Classes'. One of the 'common people', Jarvis' wry observations on sex, drugs and love and the famous stage invasion during Michael Jackson's performance at the 1996 Brit Awards has safely assured his place in pop's hall of fame.
Beyond Pulp, he has directed music videos for Aphex Twin and Nightmares On Wax, and performed under the name Darren Spooner. He released two solo albums for the Rough Trade label, released a book of Pulp lyrics called 'Mother, Brother, Lover', recorded and performed with pianist Chilly Gonzales and for several years was the soundtrack to Sunday afternoons on BBC 6Music. His latest incarnation is under the moniker of JARV IS...

Freya Ridings was the British breakthrough success story of 2018. Her 2017 song ‘Lost Without You’ peaked at Number 9 in the Official Chart and stayed in the Top 10 for 8 weeks. A hymn to lost love and regret, the single had over 100 million streams in the months following its release and was added to BBC Radio 1, Radio 2 and Capital FM playlists.
Contending with being incredibly shy and feeling isolated at school, Freya found her extraordinary voice when she was invited to perform at an open-mic night when she was just 12 years old. Freya has distilled a short lifetime of uncertainty into greatness with one of the most powerful voices in a generation.

Shura Denton has been around for a while: early reports are of a grungy-looking female from Manchester purveying a Smiths/Cocteau-style, guitar-based sound. Now the singer, of Russian parentage and apparently based in London, is on much more of an 80s pop tip.
She looks a bit like 1984 Madonna in her press shots, and her latest track, Just Once (the follow-up to the also-excellent Touch), evokes slow-dance Madge as well as Cyndi Lauper in ballad mode (Time After Time). It’s breathy and melodic, with a quietly arresting lyric about the perils of simultaneous infatuation and inebriation.
