Live At The Chapel: Milton Jones, Josie Long, Joe Lycett, Charlie Baker
December's Live At The Chapel show is headlined by Milton Jones, the frequently-lauded and frequently absurd one-line-merchant.
Support comes from whimsical crusader Josie Long, the hugely charismatic Joe Lycett, and Charlie Baker, incredibly likeable, affable, and every bit the 21st Century showman.
Please note that the artists appearing may be subject to change.
This event takes place at Union Chapel, which has achieved Bronze Status for disabled access from Attitude Is Everything.
Milton Jones? You know, the weird bloke with the shirts from Mock The Week! Comedian, writer and actor, whose stand-up is full of surrealism, nonsense and sharp wit. His style of humour is based on mostly one-liners involving puns. Jones has had various shows on BBC Radio 4, at the beginning of which he is sometimes announced as 'Britain's funniest Milton'.
'The wild-haired Jones has raised wordplay to the level of fine art' (Radio Times)
'He's fast, absurd and very funny' (Radio Times)
'No-one can touch Jones when he hits his stride' (The Guardian)

Claiming her first BBC Comedy Award by the age of 17, Josie returned to performing after finishing University, notably at the Edinburgh Fringe, where she carried on winning awards for 'Kindness and Exuberance' (Best Newcomer) and later in 2007/8 for 'Trying Is Good'.
She regularly writes for The Guardian and has appeared on The Island (Channel 4), The Superhuman’s Show (Channel 4), Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central (Comedy Central) and Dara O’Briain’s Go 8 Bit.
The Telegraph have described her as 'one of the most exciting female comics around'. Josie's humour is warm, optimistic and endearing, filled with rambling daft tales and all the things she likes in the world and which cheer her up.
'An original and unflagging spirit, oozing enthusiasm and intellect… Long builds delightful comedy worlds' (The Times)
'An absolute delight' (Time Out)
'An original and unflagging spirit... A passion for ideas and creativity... this is a lovely show' (The Guardian).

Imagine if Jack Black, Frank Sinatra and Jethro had a son...
'Let's Dance for Comic Relief' winner Charlie Baker brings his incredible mix of jokes, song and dance to the stage. Charlie was a regular on the 2010 series of Richard Bacon's Beer and Pizza Club, starred in The Comedy Store, which aired in January 2011.
The Guardian has described the hyperactive funnyman as 'a superior take on the modern showman' and 'Devon's answer to Frank Sinatra'.
