ABC were one of those groups who come along once a decade to effect a paradigm shift in the way music is heard and made, one of those groups who move the music forward, alerting us to the possibilities of strange combinations, employing radical ideas yet never confusing arrogance with ambition. They kick-started the Eighties with their own brand of pop for the new decade. Fusing dance floor finesse with a post-punk attitude they released their first single, ‘Tears Are Not Enough’, in the autumn of 1981. More hits followed in rapid succession. ‘Poison Arrow’, ‘The Look Of Love’ and ‘All Of My Heart’. On its release in May 1982 their debut album ‘The Lexicon of Love’ crashed straight into the album charts at number one. Although they continued to release more albums over the years, they eventually made an acclaimed sequel to their debut, releasing 'The Lexicon of Love II' in 2017. ABC continue to tour extensively throughout the world, playing sell-out concerts from London‘s Royal Albert Hall to California’s Hollywood Bowl. Whether performing as a band, or performing with an Orchestra, Martin Fry remains the consummate show man.

The band continued their assault on the UK pop charts with tracks such as "Shine", "Shy Guy", amongst many more.

The Doctor (Doctor And The Medics)
Doctor and the Medics were created 21 years ago by the Doctor, The Reverend Clive Thomas Jackson. During that time they have had a very colourful and successful career as both recording Artists and performers. Undoubtedly the band has been best known for their 2.4 million selling No 1 hit in 18 countries Spirit in the Sky. However they have always been recognised as a great live act, in 1985 the NME referred to them as "THE live band of the year." in 1999 the Doctor put together the present line-up and they have developed a great live show that just has to be seen to be believed with a unique and sensationally flamboyant act.

Jennie Matthias first burst onto the pop scene in 1981 as the lead singer of the well-loved '80s all girl band The Belle Stars. After signing with the legendary Stiff Records the band produced four UK hits – ‘Sign of the Times’, ‘The Clapping Song’, ‘Sweet Memory’ and ‘Iko Iko’. The rich Belle Star sound was enhanced by Jennie’s Ska and Reggae roots. ‘Iko Iko’ became a hit in the US charts and achieved worldwide recognition following its appearance in the Oscar winning Rain Man. In 1987 Jennie helped form the band Dance Like A Mother” and recorded album tracks with The System in New York, then soon after with Randy Jackson, Preston Glass and Narada Michael Walden in California.
