Shepley is a rural village on the edge of the Peak District in West Yorkshire. Shepley Spring Festival is a 3 day festival celebrating the very best of traditional music, song and dance from Britain and beyond. Concerts and dances feature some of the country's most well known traditional artists as well as showcasing promising new acts.
At venues and pubs around Shepley village there are dance displays, music and dance workshops, music and song sessions plus a full programme of youth and children's activities. This friendly, family festival with a national reputation and strong community links was voted ‘Village Festival of the Year’ in 2012.
