Featuring
Deep Purple
Deep Purple have emerged as a true institution of the British hard rock community. Formed in England in 1968, and releasing their debut album that year, the band have sold over 100 million albums worldwide. Iconic hits include 'Smoke On The Water', 'Highway Star', 'Space Truckin'', 'Hush' and 'My Woman From Tokyo', with albums such as Fireball, Machine Head and Made in Japan remaining classics decades after their release. Surviving almost limitless line-up changes, the current line-up - Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Ian Paice, Steve Morse and Don Airey - continues to release ground-breaking, earth-shattering rock of the highest calibre. The latter-year Purple has moved progressively into new areas, piquing fans’ interest who were not born when the mighty Purple machine ruled the music world’s money trees. Their holy grail of ‘In Rock’ (1970) ‘Machine Head’ (1972) and ‘Made In Japan’ released in 1973 catapulted Deep Purple to the top in concert grosses and album sales around the world, with track ‘Smoke On The Water’ ascending to mega-status.

Linkin Park
Californian nu-metallers, Linkin Park, were formed in 1996 and their debut album, 2000's Hybrid Theory, catapulted them into the mainstream, turning them into one of the world's most popular rock bands ever. Frontman Chester Bennington passed away in July 2017 at the age of 41.

Slayer
The Grandaddies of Thrash are still going and are just as brutal as ever. Controversial from the word go, and as extreme as anything that had gone before, Slayer shook the metal world to its foundations in the 80s with a succession of intense, violent and hugely popular albums. Two decades later and Slayer are still one of the biggest draws on the metal circuit.

Rob Zombie
Founder of noise rock band White Zombie, Rob went solo in 1998 and has sold over fifteen million CDs worldwide to date. Not content to merely hijack the planet with his delightfully nefarious tunes, Rob has also directed numerous feature films, including his interpretation of John Carpenter's original cult horror 'Halloween' in 2007, 2004's essential 'House of 1000 Corpses and 2005's critically acclaimed 'The Devil's Rejects'.

Alter Bridge
After the break-up of Creed, three of its members (Mark Tremonti, Scott Phillips and Brian Marshall) returned with their new band Alter Bridge. They are augmented by singer Myles Kennedy, whose awesome vocal ability blends perfectly with the instrumental talents of the rest of the group. Whilst keeping an open mind about music, the four band members undoubtedly play to their strengths, delivering rock songs that are exciting and melodic in equal measure.

Sabaton
Grammy-nominated power metallers from Sweden, Sabaton base their lyrics on war and historical battles. Their ideas are drawn from World War I, World War II and other conflicts, with songs written about battles and leaders. Lead singer Joakim Brodén formed a new line-up of Sabaton, following the departure of most original members in 2012, and 2014 saw the fruits of the first new material under the line-up change. Long term fans need not worry though, 7th album 'Heroes' remains faithful to their original sound, with perhaps a slightly darker atmosphere and some amped-up heaviness.

Hailing from a tough Australian country town, these four boys have grown up with a healthy respect for the fine art that is foot to the floor rock n roll! Apocalyptica are a charting, multi-platinum symphonic metal band from Helsinki, Finland. Originally formed as a metal tribute quartet, the band eventually adopted a neoclassical metal style of their own without the use of conventional guitars. Powerwolf
A German/Romanian five piece power metal band created in 2003 by brothers Charles and Matthew Greywolf. The group is notable for having dark themes and images, both musically and lyrically, both counteractions to traditional power metal music and including usage of corpse paint, gothic-tinged compositions and songs about Transylvanian werewolf and vampire legends and dark religious tales.

Southern California rockers founded by Austin Carlile, taking their name from the John Steinbeck novel and film. Hailing from Santa Barbara, USA, Devildriver is a heavy metal band featuring lead vocalist Dez Fafara from Coal Chamber. The Devil Wears Prada are a Christian metalcore 6-piece from Ohio. Denying they named themselves after the film title, lead singer Mike Hranica said "We believe it to mean that possessions don't matter at all. When standing before God, he won't care about your sweet Prada scarf or Gucci shoes or whatever. It's a Christian reasoning for the name." The band are one of the most potent and powerful bands in modern American metal, combining technical metal, hardcore and infectious melodies with ever engaging live shows.

SHVPES
A five piece melodic post hardcore / metal band from Birmingham. They created a massive fanbase until they called in a day in July 2020. "The band’s sound is shaped by a love of big, stadium-filling mid-00s metalcore and big, riff-y modern hardcore. Their base sound is a mix of peak Bullet For My Valentine, Stray From The Path, and While She Sleeps, which is to say it’s filled to the brim with metallic glory. Inglorious are five young men with a mutual love and respect of the classics of Hard Rock music, big guitar riffs, and soulful vocals. Their influences stem from iconic Rock albums from the 1970s – many years before the band members were born! The same albums that have inspired generations of musicians and performers are noticeably evident when you listen to Inglorious. This is the music they were born to play together - inspired by bands in the classic rock genre as diverse as Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Whitesnake, Bad Company, and Aerosmith. Formed in February 2014, the band is fronted by Nathan James, who made a name for himself having sung for the multi-platinum selling Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and Scorpions guitar legend Uli Jon Roth. Behemoth
Polish death metallers Behemoth have been important figures in the Polish extreme metal underground since 1991. No strangers to controversy, the band have been banned in Russia for their alleged Satanic lyrical content. However, following a petition granting a right to free speech, the band are freely allowed to play in their native Poland. Primarily regarded as a death metal outfit, Behemoth also take in Middle-Eastern influences and experiment with multi-layered vocals.

Metal Church
Metal Church was an American heavy metal band who originally formed in Seattle, Washington as Shrapnel in 1980. Metal Church was formed when the thrash metal genre was still evolving. Lyrically, the band's themes are usually dark, with early topics such as conflict and fear expanding to philosophical and social commentary later on. After releasing five full-length albums and touring extensively throughout the 1980s and early 1990s, Metal Church disbanded in 1994, but decided to re-form four years later. Having endured numerous lineup changes since, they worked with their third vocalist, and have released four more studio albums and one live album.

Decapitated
Decapitated was founded in Krosno, Poland, in 1996 at the tender age of 14, and already with a view to taking Death Metal to the next level with progression and flawless technique as their motives. Ereb Altor
A three piece Scandinavian Metal band. In the early 1990s an underground band named Forlorn was born. They played a particular type of doom metal that blended together a wide spectrum of musical styles, including the epic sounds of Bathory’s Viking metal albums. As they evolved into a full-fledged doom act, some of the songs were filed away and the band’s name was changed to Isole. In 2003, Mats and Ragnar, decided to resurrect the old hymns and thus, Ereb Altor was officially born.

'Death sludge doom gaze' from Denver, Colorado. Colorado’s Primitive Man was formed in February of 2012 by Ethan Lee McCarthy, Jonathan Campos, and Bennet Kennedy.
