Since coming to the UK, the Canadian has built up a reputation as a popular and highly recommended comedian. He is willing to tackle a huge range of topics, from the obscure to the familiar, from a simple gag to quirky, inventive, rambling anecdotes with unexpected punchlines. Even if he occasionally seems to lose sight of where he's going, at least you know he's taking the audience with him.
'Wonderfully imaginative, original and hilarious' (Rhod Gilbert)
'So cool he could well be the answer to global warming. Gloriously funny silly and smart' (The Scotsman)
'Rock 'n' roll comedian. Absolutely boxfresh; nothing is staid about Stade' (Evening Standard)
'One of the best practitioners of stand-up we've got... stand-up elite' (Chortle)
'An insider's tip for comedy greatness... comic riffs of monumental proportions'
'Every inch a star... super confidence and charisma. If comedy is the new rock 'n' roll, then Tom Stade is Keith Richards' (Scottish Daily Record).
Tom Stade was named in Ents24's top 20 hardest-working comedians of 2016.
Tom Stade tour dates
Popular circuit comedian and regular compere for several comedy nights. He is probably best known for his Comedy Store improvisations, but after starting his professional career as a support act for Peter Kay he was soon selling out his own one-man shows, and things look like they are only going to get better for Derker's most famous son.
On TV Mick has starred in BBC1`s Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow as well as Comedy Blue and The Comedy Store (both Comedy Central). He made his big screen debut in 2009 in Ken Loach’s Looking For Eric – a hit feature film at the Cannes film festival where it was nominated for the prestigious Palm D’Or. A prolific comic, he is a writer on John Bishop’s Britain (BBC1) and has helped make the show a ratings success.
'See him or regret it' (John Bishop)
'Absolute legend, incredibly funny' (Jason Manford)
'Performs with style and conviction... highly enjoyable' (Chortle).

Lewis Jones - aka Big Lou - is a regular host at two monthly comedy nights: Highfield Comedy, which is based at The Highfield Inn, Oldham, every first Thursday of the month and Prestwich Comedy every second Thursday of the month at The Church Inn, Prestwich.
'Big Lou was on the first ever Manfords Comedy Club Night and he was there because we thought he'd smash it. He did!' (Colin Manford, co-owner Manford's Comedy Clubs)
'Big Lou is one of the first acts I go to when I'm putting a line-up together. Consistently funny and always get great feedback from venues' (Dave Wolfe, Golf Comedy)
'Excellent set and great company. I attend lots of similar functions and Big Lou is up there with the best of them!' (Basil Kabbani, Chairman, Wythenshawe Amateurs FC)
'Big Lou is one of those acts who it seems can be be set down in any room and he will get good consistent laughs from any audience. Be it a 50 seat room above a pub or a 200 seat theatre, his original and strong material combined with quality delivery and a natural warm personality will get the desired results' (Mike Taylor, Concept Comedy).

Comedy genius is an over used term and Damion Larkin is not a comedy genius. However, he really is very good indeed.
This former stockbroker quit his lucrative profession in August 2004 to live the dream and has never looked back. He went full time in 2005 and is now destitute, relying on state handouts and begging.
There are no genuine comparisons to this man. He is a versatile and creative comedian who always leaves audiences wanting more.
'Industrious in rotating his material... which is warmly and intelligently told' (Chortle)
'One of the country's top new comedians' (BBC).
