Simonsbath Festival’s exciting programme of world music continues with a concert of tradition and innovation.

Ricky Romain and Jon Sterckx will begin the evening with a series of light Indian pieces with a folk element and, by special request, after the interval Jon will give a performance of his astonishing Drumscapes, which has been wowing audiences across the country.

Created using a range of acoustic percussion instruments, vocal percussion and digital audio processing, Drumscapes range from highly energised rhythmical journeys to atmospheric percussion soundscapes.
