A major night to launch LOOPFEST 2026. Ash bring the big hooks and high-velocity energy, Reef deliver the anthems, and The Bluetones Acoustic add a rare, intimate take on their classic catalogue. Three huge names, one outdoor stage, right in the centre of Shrewsbury. Support comes from fast-rising songwriter Jess Silk.

West Country rockers fronted by Gary Stringer who first found fame in the mid '90s, thanks to their song 'Naked' being used in a Sony Minidisc commercial. Perhaps best known for their '96 top ten hit 'Place Your Hands', which was adopted by Chris Evans and is still played in indie and rock clubs across the country today, along with chart-topping second album 'Glow'.

Northern Ireland's favourite sons who hit the big time with their massive debut album '1977'. As part of the mid-nineties Britpop phenomenon, Ash always stood out as the rebels of the genre, making grungy post-rock and anthemic indie, which, to this day, has gained them rave reviews and a strong and loyal following.

The Bluetones
Mark Morriss and the boys continue to go from strength to strength more than twenty years on. They appeared just as the Britpop boom was waning - which helped in getting their debut album 'Expecting To Fly' to the top slot in the UK charts. Musically, they endorse a tight but lithe sound, with a nod towards psychedelia, that falls somewhere between The Stone Roses, classic pop and a little touch of Oasis swagger.
