Never miss another 'Feeder' show
Feeder + The Boy Royals
Feeder head out for a string of huge UK dates in November. Culminating in a show at O2 Academy Brixton, the tour takes in five dates across the country.
Having already sold out a UK tour in January in support of their single 'Borders', Feeder's eighth album 'Generation Freakshow', is released on April 23rd. 'Generation Freakshow' takes the heavier elements of Feeder's previous album 'Renegades' and marries it to the anthemic rock of their much-loved hits.
In their career, which spans over two decades, the band have racked up over 25 hit singles, sold in excess of five million records, and released a double platinum singles collection.
Formed in 1992, Feeder's heavy guitars and sugarsweet melodies have made a lasting impression on the UK's rock scene and finally gained deserved chart success in 2001 with the single 'Buck Rogers' (followed by numerous others). Despite the tragic death of drummer Jon Lee in January 2002, the band have managed to stay together and the 'Comfort In Sound' album cemented them as one of the UK's brightest indie rock groups for many a year.
Feeder tour dates
Newport's The Boy Royals bring their sound together with a love of iconic British bands, such as Manic Street Preachers, The Who and The Jam whilst blending it with the spikier side of indie rock. Their attitude and ability to write such anthemic songs has seen the band sharing stages up and down the UK with the likes of Hard-Fi, Lostprophets, Feeder and The View.
The Boy Royals have gained support from numerous BBC Radio 1 and 6 music DJs, with their single 'Teenage Sky'. Steve Lamacq chose them as his 'New Favourite Band' whilst Huw Stephens selected their single to be his 'Next Hype', as well as inviting them to play one of his select showcase nights.
The boys look the part too. Strong alliances with the Pretty Green and Weekend Offender clothing labels have fledged the band to make suave appearances at fashion events, notably playing Berlin Fashion Week.
