Twmpath Dawns
They are delighted to announce that his year we will be celebrating St. David’s Day with a special Twmpath Dawns.
On Saturday 4th March, a few days after the day itself, they will celebrating with a fantastic ceilidh, with the help of live music from Allan yn y Fan.
A Twmpath Dawns is a evening of traditional folk dancing with an emphasis on fun. The band will be demonstrating dances and walking everyone through them, so no experience is required. No need to worry about doing the wrong steps, a twmpath is a lively and fun dance where all are welcome to join in with the evening.
Earlier this year Allan Yn Y Fan had 20,000 people dancing to their tunes in Bute Park Cardiff as part of the climax to the Roald Dahl 'City of the Unexpected' centenary celebrations. They can't squeeze quite as many people in but they can guarantee you'll have the same brilliant experience!
A fun evening for all the family with live music, dancing and a fully licensed bar in the fantastic Pavilion building.
