Jackie Oates is a rising star who was a BBC Young Folk Award finalist in 2003 and has since had a MOJO top 10 album, numerous gigs and festival appearances as well as tours with the legendary Show of Hands.
Jackie Oates tour dates
Glorious four-part harmony singing combines with crunchy twin fiddles, majestic melodeon and powerful bouzouki in a set that will leave your heart singing and your feet tapping. The quartet are made up from two duos; Nancy Kerr & James Fagan and Richard and Jess Arrowsmith.
The Melrose Quartet tour dates
A new band of experienced musicians who play traditional English and Welsh dance music. With a line-up of 3 violins, accordion and bouzouki, they offer a lyrical alternative to drum-based ceilidh bands.
Boldwood tour dates
Magpie Lane's music is unmistakably rooted in the English tradition. This 6 piece band is based around the composition of a nineteenth century village band with fiddle, cello, concertina, whistles and percussion to the fore. The group's instrumental prowess is matched, if not surpassed, by its vocal strength with melodious solo performances and powerful harmonies as the band's trademarks.
Magpie Lane tour dates
Vibrant guitar, fiddle and accordion folk trio comprising Seth Tinsley, Heather Gessey and Andrew Waite. They draw upon influences from every corner of the British Isles and beyond to deliver music and song that is dynamic, fresh and quite brilliantly played.
Tyde tour dates
'Elegant, unflinchingly pure folk instrumentals and stirring folk voice from two of the award-winning Demon Barbers' - The Telegraph.
Expect a repertoire of dark ballads, chorus songs and dance tunes delivered with good humoured Yorkshire banter featuring the sensitive yet driving melodeon of Will Hampson and the distinctive vocals and delicious fiddling of Bryony Griffith.
Their 'legendary-to-be' (English Dance and Song Magazine) debut album 'Lady Diamond' has received rave reviews.

This fantastic young folk duo have a hard-hitting sound which combines excellent vocals, skilful guitar and driving, lyrical fiddle. Their performance brims with enthusiasm, and is backed up by a real knack for banter and audience communication - this is pure entertainment!
Greg and Ciaran have taken the British folk music scene by storm, clinching two BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards -The Young Folk (2013) and Horizon Award (2014) With two widely acclaimed studio albums on the Fellside label to their credit (The Queen’s Lover and The Call) and a live DVD (In Concert) they really have fulfilled their promise.

The Teacups are a vibrant new folk vocal quartet based in Newcastle, featuring Alex Cumming, Kate Locksley, Rosie Calvert and Will Finn. They perform traditional and contemporary songs in a wide variety of styles from all over the UK and beyond in new and exciting arrangements.
