TED is a platform for ideas worth spreading. Started in 1984 as a conference showcasing innovation in technology, entertainment and design, TED today shares ideas across all fields - from science to business to global issues.

TEDxOxford is the largest independently organised TEDx event in the UK. Previous instalments of the event sold out within days and have featured world-renowned speakers, including Camila Batmanghelidjh, Susan Greenfield and Vidal Sassoon. The conference has been covered by publications such as Wired, the Huffington Post and the New Scientist.
