Denise Welch will host a starry list of performers coming together for a filmed concert, We Need A Little Christmas, in support of Shelter and Crisis at Christmas.
The concert will be filmed live at the Actors’ Church (St Paul’s Church) in London’s Covent Garden, with performances from Dame Maureen Lipman, Courtney Act, Christine Allado, David Bedella, Simon Callow, Kevin Clifton, Brenda Edwards, Sheila Ferguson, Amy Hart, Dom Hartley-Harris, Sophie Isaacs, Cassidy Janson, Lydia Lucy, Lee Mead, Peter Polycarpou, Jodie Prenger, Sharon Rose, Sally Ann Triplett and The Vivienne, along with Brian Conley and the cast of A Christmas Carol – The Musical and the West End Gospel Choir.

Lee Mead
Lee Mead shot to fame when he won the BBC's Any Dream Will Do, Andrew Lloyd Webber's national search to find the lead in his production of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He subsequently enjoyed a successful run in this hit musical at the Adelphi Theatre, which was acclaimed by audiences and critics alike. Since then, Lee has established himself as one of the leading names in musical theatre, having played Fiyero in Wicked and Emmett in Legally Blonde. Lee has also played the main role in a national tour of Oscar Wilde's Lord Arthur Savile's Crime. He became a regular cast member of BBC1's long-running drama Casualty, then reprised his role in the sister-series Holby City.

Sally Ann Triplett

Brian Conley
One of the UK's most versatile entertainers, Brian is a popular star of the musical stage with an ever cheeky grin. A regular of Saturday night TV in the late '90s, in latter years Brian has appeared more on stage than screen. Brian also appeared on Strictly Come Dancing 2017, partnering professional dancer Amy Dowden. A regular favourite in panto, the comedy actor has also taken to the West End in Me And My Girl, Jolson, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Hairspray, to name but a few. Brian has also recorded three albums (one with the London Philharmonic Orchestra), starred in multiple films and was invited to be the ‘special guest’ on Bob Hope’s last world tour.
