This event will be takng place at the Third Stage, the home for their range of spoken word and music events in the informal surroundings of the Theatre Royal’s Dress Circle Foyer. The bar will be open so take your seat, relax and enjoy.

Inspired by El Dia de los Muertos, the Mexican Day of the Dead, professional storyteller Tim Ralphs digs deep into his repertoire to dance hand-in-hand with that dynamic trio of God, the Devil and Death, as we present this quirky and delightful alternative to Halloween.

It will be a night of stories and magical mayhem where the dead are honoured and lost souls are tempted back into the world of the living for a bit of a party. Death is mocked, cheated and saluted by turn.

An internationally renowned storyteller, Tim Ralphs has been collecting a vast catalogue of tales to delight the imagination for many years. Myths, folktales, riddles and songs will be offered up as a feast to for all to share as we open ourselves to the mystery of The Day of the Dead.
