Sunday Morning Piano Series

Enjoy an hour of great music in the company of some of the most exciting stars of the piano. The Sunday Morning Series offers a rich mix of classic works and rare gems, from Chopin to Ireland. After the concert you can chat with the performers over tea, coffee and cake.

Maverick performer, American Lara Downes starts the New Year with a dance theme. She plays Prokofiev's own arrangement of his ballet, Romeo and Juliet followed by fellow American, Daniel Felsenfeld's contemporary song, Mad Love.

She finishes with two famous waltzes, Weber's Invitation to the Dance and Ravel's La Valse, in his own piano version.
