Celebrating Gershwin

A stroll through Tin Pan Alley.

Acclaimed clarinettist, Julian Bliss, takes a trip to Tin Pan Alley, showcasing his astonishing versatility and virtuosity in an irrestible line-up of Gershwin's most beautiful melodies and exciting swinging tunes.

Telling the story of their life and times along the way, it features original arrangements for the septet including a suite from Porgy and Bess, music from Rhapsody in Blue and the great songs, I Got Rhythm, Embraceable You, Lady Be Good and a dozen more, along with classic songs from Gershwin's contemporaries.

Stellar soloists in their own right, Bliss's septet are a band to be reckoned with, delivering an upbeat evneing of classy musical entertainment.
