As the curtain rises on this 1976 Tony Award winning musical we are thrown into the world of Broadway auditions, following 17 hopefuls leaping and pirouetting it out to become one of the final 8 in Director Zach's next big show - Will they get it? God they hope so
With each dancer on the line sharing life's little anecdotes, from plastic surgery to bum notes, from adultery to adolescence, we share in this journey from individual to ensemble culminating in one of the most impressive kick lines in Broadway's history.
A Chorus Line, featuring music from the legendary Marvin Hamlisch, will be Platform 1 Productions debut at Middlesbrough Theatre, with a full live band, classic choreography and a cast full of talent, featuring show stopping numbers such as "One", "The Music and The Mirror" and the beautiful "What I Did For Love"
