Teleman have emerged from the clatter and chaos of London. The band's simple, sonorous brew of guitar, drum and synths is not at all unusual, but with it they craft exquisite pop songs that instantly spark your musical curiosity. Teleman are Thomas Sanders (vocals, guitar), Jonny Sanders (synths), Pete Cattermoul (bass) and Hiro Amamiya (drums).

Blending wiry post-punk with unpredictable art-rock, Drahla have garnered early critical praise with their first singles, including ‘Faux Text’/’Burden of Proof’ which was released via Too Pure Singles Club earlier this year. Formed in late 2015, Drahla quickly found their identity in Leeds’ fertile music scene with their minimal yet robust bass-heavy sound, while their reputation as a fervent live act saw them sharing stages with Parquet Courts, The Cribs, Buzzcocks, Dream Wife, Menace Beach and more.

Named after a Nigerian state capital, Benin City is Theo Buckingham on drums, Tom Leaper on tenor sax, and Joshua Idehen on rhymes. Joshua met Theo Buckingham at a squat party. They struck up a loud friendship and decided to make more organised noises together. They drafted in Tom to arrange their babble into music. Voila! As a band, they've been played and championed by Jon Kennedy, Jon Hillcock, Scroobius Pip and Eddy Temple Morris (XFM) Edith Bowman and Tom Robinson (BBC6). They have gained accolades and fans for their energetic live performances, having supported Soweto Kinch, VV Brown, Moko and Youngblood Brass band.

North London female indie pop three-piece Poppy Hankin (vocals, guitar), Iris McConnell (drums) and Sophie Moss (bass) are Girl Ray, a band influenced by the old C86 Indie scene along with the more contemporary likes of Cate Le Bon. Formed when all three members were just the age of 16, they have created a sound mature beyond their years, with echoes of Nico meets The Beach Boys. "The influence of shambly 1990s indie such as Pavement and, most obviously, Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci, is clear on their winningly gauche debut, but it stands in a longer line of British faux-naifs stretching back through Postcard Records and the Raincoats" - 4/5, The Guardian
