Featuring

Gabrielle Aplin

Gabrielle Aplin appearing at this event

Talented Wiltshire singer-songwriter Gabrielle Aplin became something of an internet sensation, notching up over 3 million plays on You Tube with her gentle acoustic cover versions of songs by Paramore and You Me At Six. She then went on to reach no.1 in the UK singles chart in 2012 with her haunting cover of Frankie's 'The Power Of Love', thanks to heavy exposure through that year's John Lewis Christmas commercial. Not wishing to be labelled as a mere covers girl, she went on to release her own self-penned or co-written material, with two hit albums, 'English Rain' and 'Light Up The Dark', along with a string of EPs. Her breathtaking combination of beautiful vocals and self-taught piano and guitar musicianship draws influences from Damien Rice, Jamie Cullum, James Morrison to Paramore and Joni Mitchell.

Saint Raymond

Saint Raymond appearing at this event

Calling himself Saint Raymond after the street he grew up in and his grandfather, young singer-songwriter Callum Burrows’s meteoric rise saw him swap the pubs of his native Nottingham for support slots touring with Ed Sheeran. He stormed into the spotlight in 2014 after his single, Young Blood, was named Zane Lowe's 'Hottest Record in the World' (Radio 1). His debut album, also titled Young Blood, finally followed in the Summer of 2015, with critics making favourable comparisons to Miles Kane, Bastille, The Police and Simple Minds.

Ward Thomas

Ward Thomas appearing at this event

Hampshire and Country music may not be obvious bed fellows but twin sisters Catherine and Lizzy Ward Thomas (who have been singing harmonies together since childhood) have had Country music in their blood ever since they were introduced to the sounds of Carrie Underwood, Dixie Chicks and Alison Krauss by a Canadian cousin in their early teens. With one listen to their vocal cadences and close harmonies, soon Nashville and Hampshire suddenly don’t seem all that far apart.
