Kaiser Chiefs have announced the release of anthemic new single ‘People Know How To Love One Another’ alongside details of a UK arena tour in January 2020.
‘People Know…’ is the lead single from the Kaiser Chiefs forthcoming new album Duck and follows hot on the heels of Record Collection, which gave fans their first taste of the new album. Duck, released on July 26th through Polydor, is the sound of one of the most successful British guitar bands of the millennium reclaiming the creative swagger that underpins their strongest work. “It’s undeniably fantastic and undeniably Kaiser Chiefs,” says frontman Ricky Wilson.
Fresh from their triumphant homecoming gig at Leeds Elland Road on June 8th, Kaiser Chiefs announce a 9 date UK arena tour with very special guests Razorlight supporting.
Fifteen years into their career, the band, completed by Andrew “Whitey” White (guitar), Peanut (keyboards) and Vijay Mistry (drums), are hitting new artistic peaks. “It’s more exciting than it’s ever been,” says Wilson. “Every time there’s a big obstacle, it just gets blown away in the wind like a dandelion. We’re still selling out arenas but under the radar. We can make albums forever.”
Formed in Leeds in 2000, Kaiser Chiefs are one of the leading bands of their generation. The infectious enthusiasm of their music and the unique viewpoint of their lyrics has seen them compared to Franz Ferdinand, Blur, The Clash, and Madness, but their passionately dedicated fans know that this band are true originals, confirmed by the fact they're still going strong two decades on.

Formed in 2002 around lead singer Johnny Borrell, Razorlight quickly became one of the key bands of the new millennia, selling 4 million albums, winning the 2005 NME New Band Award, nominated for two BRIT Awards and two NME Awards ‘Best Band’ and ‘Best Album’ in 2007.

British pop-rock band led by a pair of brothers from Hull (Mez Sanders-Green on lead vocals and Mick Sanders on lead guitar). This is young, fun, fast-paced, urban pop-rock, who could be compared to a young Arctic Monkeys. If the current incarnation of 'rockstar' is that of an arrogant, slightly detached reality singer, apolitical in the extreme, beige, spoiled by the industry and surrounded by yes men, then Mez and his gang are here to put the boot in. As the frontman of punk band LIFE, Mez jumps and dances around the stage with a death glare like Jarvis Cocker making love to Frank Sidebottom and the Sultans of Ping. He tackles themes from Trump to Brexit, mass consumption, police violence and austerity – the bleakness of it all laid bare in songs which punch with clarity and fizz.
