Tomorrow’s Warriors Soon Come Orchestra

It's no hyperbole to say that the UK jazz scene as we know it today would not exist were it not for Tomorrow's Warriors. For this special celebration, the latest generation of Warriors join us for an electrifying reunion jam to raise funds to keep their free Artist Development Programme running.

Founded and led by Janine Irons MBE and Gary Crosby OBE, the music charity has been responsible for nurturing aspiring jazz musicians since 1991. Their mission: to improve diversity and equality in the arts through a pioneering development programme that champions female musicians, young people from the African diaspora and those whose financial circumstances might otherwise lock them out of a career in music.

A portion of the proceeds from the show will go to Tomorrows Warriors Foundation and there will be an optional extra £2 donation per ticket for the Tomorrow's Warriors charity fund.

The Tomorrow’s Warriors alumni reads like a who's who of the UK jazz scene, with the likes of Shabaka Hutchings and Sons of Kemet, Nubya Garcia and Nérija, Binker & Moses, Femi Koleoso and Ezra Collective, Soweto Kinch, Eska, Nathaniel Facey and Empirical, Zara McFarlane, Denys Baptiste, Jason Yarde, Byron Wallen and more all passing through its doors.
