Tea Drinking Along The Silk Road

Helen Saberi, author of Tea: A Global History, will take you on a tea journey along the Silk Road from Xian to Istanbul.

Hear about tea drinking customs and traditions, see rare images from the Horniman’s collections and sample teas from the Tregothnan Estate in Cornwall.

You are invited to bring your own special teacup or mug along for the evening to explore how these vessels transform our own experience of drinking tea.
