Pearl,TN is fronted by the soothing sweet voice of Harriet James. The vulnerability in Harriet's voice chimes as true as the clink of a quarter in an old jukebox.

Pearl, TN call it mountain pop music, and it's a blend of acoustic country and blues, made in England, that has grown out of the band's shared love of American roots music. The album sounds as dusty and old as their cover of Bill Trader's 1952 cut 'A fool such as I'.
