éVoid is a pop / rock outfit from South Africa, now resident in London. They were hugely successful during the '80s with their hits "Shadows" and "Taximan" and were known for creating a New Romantic "Fadgets" look consisting of colourful ethno-gypsy outfits accessorised with zulu and ndebele beadwork. Their music ranges from well-crafted pop songs to ethno-junk rhythms.
