Prominent pioneers of ‘techno punk pop rock’, Republica are set to return to London for an exclusive one off show to celebrate the re-release of their outstanding cult debut album, ‘Republica’, featuring the hugely influential hits ‘ready to go’ and ‘Drop Dead Gorgeous’. Materialising in the mid 90s amidst a surge of female-fronted guitar bands they boasted a distinctively more aggressive and electronic based sound, propelling them into the public eye and making them iconic staples within the alternative music scene.
