The Right To Remain Silent
An ex-crime scene photographer has retreated into his dark room, haunted by his photos and his memories. But how accurate are his memories anyway?
Can his neighbour help him remember?
Can he help her forget?
Can she drag him into the digital age?
Will she cheat at scrabble?
Why is Elvis stalking his apartment?
When is it right to intervene and how much is the truth overrated anyway?
Warning: This play may include flashback photography.
The Right to Remain Silent is a new work-in-progress project from Neil Haigh (Co-author of The Summer House & Co-artistic Director of Cartoon de Salvo). A play about loss, isolation, death, justice, loss, pain, unspoken regret, loss, silence, noise, loss, pain and loss.
But it’s really funny.
