Literary Death Match returns to Southbank Centre for an April epic featuring an eclectic mix of literary and comedic stars to make the world feel glowy, warm and most radically – sane.

For their 2017 London debut, they're teaming with the brillianteurs behind The Good Immigrant for a immigrant-fueled night of words, whimsy and a bit of wildness

This year, they've been using LDM to feature the exact people that are getting kicked hardest in the face - immigrants, women, BAME, LGBTQ - and putting them in their shows. The show, now in 62 cities worldwide, brings together four brilliant authors to read their best writing for seven minutes or less, before a panel of three celebrity judges.

Two finalists are then chosen to compete in the Literary Death Match finale, a vaguely-literary game to decide the ultimate winner.
