Steven Wilson has announced details of two very special live shows due to take place in the autumn.
Following on from 2025’s globe-spanning tour, Steven Wilson will return to the Royal Albert Hall for the seventh time to play two shows with his band and an orchestra. The shows will take place on Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th October.
Each Royal Albert Hall performance will see Steven and band take the stage at one of the most iconic concert venues in the UK. Although Steven has played the venue before, this will be the first time he and his band have been accompanied by the Parallax Orchestra and a choir of singers performing previously unheard arrangements of The Overview tracks prepared especially for these Royal Albert Hall shows by one of the Parallax Orchestra’s founders Simon Dobson.

Steven Wilson
One of the most eclectic and prolific artists in rock music, Grammy-nominated Steven Wilson has been writing, recording, and producing music continuously since the age of 10. Early demo tapes started to emerge in the mid '80s while Steven was still at school, and at the end of the decade he created the two projects which gained him entry to the professional music world: Porcupine Tree and No Man. He has become known for the high standard of his production and is a sought-after mixer and producer.

Parallax Orchestra
Parallax Orchestra is a group of string players formed in 2015 by violinist and viola player Will Harvey and cellist Maddie Cutter. Having met whilst recording sessions for various bands, the idea was had to formalise a group to bring together the best and most versatile musicians, with experience working with bands, together in order to work with high quality artists.
