Feel the force this September at the Royal Albert Hall, as Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back is presented live in concert for the first time in the UK. The second instalment in the original trilogy of George Lucas’ classic saga will be projected in high-definition on the big screen, accompanied by the Philharmonia Orchestra and conductor Dirk Brossé – taking John Williams’ epic score to a breathtaking new dimension.
The battle for the galaxy intensifies in the thrilling fifth episode of the saga. As Imperial Forces launch an all-out attack on the Rebel Alliance, Han Solo and Princess Leia flee to Cloud City where they are captured by Darth Vader. Luke Skywalker journeys to the mysterious, marshy planet of Dagobah, where the wise Jedi Master Yoda teaches the young hero the ways of the Force. Little does Luke know that all his Jedi training will be called upon so soon.
Philharmonia Orchestra
