Dexys Midnight Runners In Conversation – National Album Week

Please note: Info provided by the Event Organiser

*** Please note this is an interview based event and not a live performance****
Classic Album Sundays founder Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy will be joined by Dexys’ Kevin Rowland and Jim Paterson at the Royal Albert Hall, as part of the National Album Day 2022 celebrations to discuss their second album Too Rye Ay.

In what will be the 40th anniversary of the original album, the album has been masterfully reworked and remixed by Kevin Rowland, Pete Schwier, and original violinist Helen O’Hara to create Too Rye Ay, “As It Should Have Sounded.”

Kevin and Jim will be interviewed on the making of the original album and why they wanted to create this new definitive version of the album in 2022.

Following the interview the album will be replayed in full on a world class audiophile sound system. The event will then conclude with a Q&A with the band allowing fans to ask questions of their own.
