Experience the 1922 expressionist classic Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror, set to an original score by composer and pianist Dmytro Morykit, as part of our Festival Of Film.
In this first-ever screen adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, directed by F.W. Murnau, a simple real-estate transaction leads an intrepid businessman deep into the heart of Transylvania. There he encounters the otherworldly Count Orlok (portrayed by the legendary Max Schreck).
Nosferatu’s style is considered a masterpiece of cinematography, which is complimented by Morykit’s original piano score, creating a sense of loss and nostalgia.
