Classic FM Live

Classic FM Live returns to the Royal Albert Hall, for another spectacular evening of the world’s greatest music.

Singer and Classic FM presenter Aled Jones will perform favourites from his brand new album, star cellist Steven Isserlis will be the soloist for the famous Elgar Cello Concerto, and Jaime Martin will conduct the Royal Scottish National Orchestra in this, their 125th anniversary year.

Also joining on the night will be the outstanding Swedish clarinettist Martin Fröst, and the evening will conclude with a breathtaking lights-and-fireworks finale, to the sound of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture.

Further musical highlights include Barber’s beautiful Adagio for Strings and the toe-tapping Overture to Candide by Bernstein.

Hosted by John Suchet and Margherita Taylor, Classic FM Live promises to be one of the highlights of the classical music calendar.
