Never miss another 'Mario Biondi' show
Mario Biondi + Incognito + Omar + James Taylor (of JTQ) + Jim Mullen
After the huge success of ten sold out concerts of last year at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London, Mario Biondi is back in London along with Incognito for the first time on stage at the Royal Albert Hall in a great and unique concert for the world premiere of his new album 'Sun'. The artist will play songs from the new album and his greatest hits. Special Guest of the evening Omar, James Taylor of J.T.Q. and Jim Mullen.
After two years of work spent between Milan, Los Angeles, New York and London, on 29th January 2013 'Sun' will hit the high streets: a new album of high quality and international breadth, produced by Biondi with Jean Paul Maunick, alias Bluey, leader of the historical British jazz band Incognito.
"It's a dream come true to share my musical history and my last album 'Sun' in the Temple of Music in London, the Royal Albert Hall," - said Mario Biondi - "with special guests: my friend Bluey, and its fabulous band Incognito, Omar, James Taylor (of JTQ) and Jim Mullen."
A warm, deep sensual voice, yet clear and confident: Mario Biondi, born Mario Ranno, patiently and carefully cultivated his musical passion starting from a tender age alongside his father: singer Stefano Biondi, in honour of whom Mario took on his stage name.
This event takes place at Royal Albert Hall, which has achieved Silver Status for disabled access from Attitude Is Everything.
Since 1980 Jean Paul 'Bluey' Maunick and Incognito have been connecting with audiences, playing a positive blend of jazz, funk and soul. In 2001 the band won a Mobo Award for Best Jazz Act.
