Funk / Punk / Indie / Soul five-piece from South London. Bursting at the seams with punk energy, with the patter of the Streets, the spittle of Mark E. Smith, and the underground spirit of Eddy Current Suppression Ring, combined with the frenzy, rage and exasperation of their youth. Their reputation as one of the best new live bands in London is cemented following tours with The Garden and Fat White Family and shows with The Fall, King Gizzard, Slaves and more.

Sleeper

Sleeper appearing at this event

After 19 years away, Britpop band Sleeper announced their return in 2017. Fronted by singer-turned-novelist Louise Wener, the band had eight UK top 40 singles between '93-'97 including the breakthrough hit 'Inbetweener', accompanied by the classic supermarket promo video starring Dale Winton, and two top 10 singles with 'Sale Of The Century' and 'Nice Guy Eddie'. They also covered Blondie's 'Atomic' for the original Trainspotting film. As T2 hit cinema screens in 2017, Louise thought 'what do I do now?' and decided to reform the band.

Megan and Lily formed IDER in their bedroom in North London and arrived in 2016 with their silken debut track ‘Sorry’, catching the attention of songwriter and producer Shura, who went onto produce ‘Does She Even Know’ from their debut EP 'Gut Me Like An Animal’. The pair soon found themselves catapulted into the spotlight after receiving monumental radio praise for each of the tracks featured on this EP.

Indie-rock three-piece from Limerick, Ireland, now based in London. They met and formed when bonding over cheap vodka and the sound of The Velvet Underground. Their musical heroes also include Patti Smith and The Cure. whenyoung are led by female vocalist Aoife Power, whose dreamy, heart-in-the-mouth vocals fizzle between swigs of Guinness and infectious guitar riffs. Aoife mesmerises on stage, and critics have compared her to "Suzi Quatro in her heyday".
