Stand Up For Labour Chiswick: Tony Benn, Shappi Khorsandi, Tony Law, Edward Aczel, Jagdish Sharma
Stand up for Labour returns to the George IV for a special night in which Tony Benn will be speaking.
The comedy will feature Shappi Khorsandi, who has not only appeared on Live at the Apollo but Question Time - twice!
Shappi will be followed by Ed Aczel who always causes a stir with his unconventional act and often appears on radio.
Headlining the night is surreal comic extraordinaire Tony Law. Tony was nominated for the best Edinburgh show at last year's festival.
Jagdish Sharma, who was the UK's first Asian Mayor and is leader of Hounslow Council, will also be speaking at the event.
Compere for the night is Crispin Flintoff, a local member of the Labour Party who is also the founder of Stand up for Labour.

First elected in 1950 and a member of every Labour Cabinet from 1964 to 1979. During his long political career, Tony Benn went through many incarnations: pillar of the Labour establishment, Cabinet minister, tabloid bogeyman, serial dissident... national treasure.

As seen as on Live At The Apollo, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, 8/10 Cats and Have I Got News For You, Shappi Khorsandi is an Iranian female stand-up comic who established herself on the London circuit back in the early 2000's. Feisty, flirty and effortlessly funny, she handles every subject with razor sharp wit. She is also the best-selling author of A Beginners Guide to Acting English.
'Makes live comedy thrilling' (Evening Standard)
'Shappi is an endearing presence and possesses a charming self-awareness that ensures consistent laughter from start to finish' (Huffington Post)
'Seriously funny and surprisingly filthy' (The New Statesman).

He is now a regular headliner on the comedy circuit and by 2014 had performed six solo shows at the Edinburgh Festival.
