Scott Walker was one of popular music's most fascinating and elusive artists. A singer whose journey took him from being a 60’s pop idol to one of the world’s most celebrated Avant Garde composers. Singer/comedian Andy Davies and pianist Kirsty Newton invite you to listen to the story and celebrate the music of the ‘godlike genius’.
It’s the story of a young man who came to England from the USA, became one of the biggest pop stars of the sixties with the Walker Brothers before walking away from it all to follow his own, unique path until his recent, untimely passing when at the peak of his powers.
It’s a story of adoration and self-loathing, beautiful ballads and unlistenable albums, success, failure and the redemption of madness.
