Work In Progress

The Leicester Mercury award-winning comedian is building a brand new hour of stand up. And is there anything more fun than watching building work?

Henry has does stand up on TV on Russell Howard’s Good News, Comedy Central at the Comedy Store and Edinburgh and Beyond. He also stars in, and co-writes, the sketch series Small Scenes on Radio 4, which is currently on it’s fourth series. He is also a prolific writer for TV shows including the sitcom Josh, Top Gear and Michael McIntyre’s Big Show.

Witness Henry wielding brand new pieces of comedy masonry, stirring up ‘joke paste’ in his ‘concept mixer’, brandishing his ‘ideas trowel’ and sealing it all with ‘narrative grouting’.

Henry will also be trying out some new facial expressions, including ‘sexual nostalgia’ and ‘rage’.

Henry guarantees that he will cover the following topics: marriage, eggs, commuting, Naked Bars, friendship, time and crisps.

Henry will not be leaving any tools in his van overnight.
