For Queen and Country is a comedy drama inspired by the recent BBC2 programme, Secret Agent Selection: WW2. Programme contributor Paul Stone has brought to life World War 2 secret agent Denis Rake’s outrageous story of his time in occupied France. Denis’ cover story was as a drag queen entertaining Nazi officers while secretly operating his wireless, aiding and supplying the resistance.
