After a hiatus from our regular shows at CentrE17, Canned Laughter is finally back home in Walthamstow at The CentrE17.
We’re delighted to finally announce our corker of a line-up:

The charmingly straight-talking, quick-witted Kerry Godliman is one of the country’s best performers. Both an incredibly talented comedian and a phenomenal actor, Kerry is best known for her appearances on BBC’s Mock The Week, Live At The Apollo, Jack Dee’s Referendum Helpdesk, Celebrity Pointless and Channel 4’s 8 Out Of 10 Cats. Kerry is also a regular on Radio 4 with appearances on the esteemed The News Quiz, The Now Show and Just A Minute as well as her own series Kerry’s List. Kerry’s acting talents have seen her receive critical acclaim for her role as Hannah in Ricky Gervais’ hit series Derek for Channel 4.

From Newcastle-on-Tyne and one of the brightest young talents on the comedy scene who is beginning to make her presence known across the country. Finishing runner-up in 2014's Funny Women, she went on to make the finals of almost every major comedy competition, including the prestigious BBC New Comedy Award in 2016. In August 2017 Lauren sold out her debut run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with her critically acclaimed show Lady Muck. This 5 star show was so popular three extra shows were added and subsequently sold out. Not only was ‘Lady Muck’ the best reviewed show at The Pleasance this year, Lauren also won a Herald Angel Award and was nominated for Best Newcomer 2017 at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards.

Lola And Jo
Lola and Jo have been working in the industry separately for a number of years. Trying to be funny together is a relatively new venture. Jo Griffin is a LAMDA trained writer/performer/comedian. Recent credits: The Vote (Donmar / Channel 4), Privacy, The Same Deep Water As Me (Donmar Warehouse), Richard Herring's I Killed Rasputin (Edinburgh Festival) & Well Funny People (BBC 3). As a writer/performer, Joanna's debut Edinburgh show in 2014, Clownslut toured the Battersea Arts Centre and was scouted for Latitude Festival 2015. Lola Stephenson studied English and Drama at the University of Bristol, before taking an MA in Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media at the Central School of Speech and Drama.
