Album Launch For 'Lions & Butterflies': A Night Of Music, Food And Dance
Following their January 2015 iTunes chart single The Rest Of Time, championed by BBC Radio 2 and featuring 2000 voices recorded around the UK, interactive alt-folkers The Portraits (“Excellent musicians”, Tom Robinson, BBC 6 Music) present an album launch with a difference. Fresh from their 2015 Glastonbury Festival performance, the band will perform songs from their sixth studio album Lions and Butterflies to an intimate Cecil Sharp House audience made up of the public and media. The exceptional ticket price will include a delicious exotic meal and glass of wine, the chance to enjoy and participate in The Portraits’ performance and then to dance your socks off at a special Ceilidh featuring a fabulous guest act.
