Performance Lab - The Science Of Laughter
Why do we laugh? And what happens to our bodies when we do? Join laughter expert Professor Sophie Scott from the UCL Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience for a live experiment and discover the secrets of a good giggle.
Sophie will be joined onstage by Edinburgh Comedy Award-winner, Alan Partridge sidekick and resident poet on Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe Tim Key, plus host of the Comedian’s Comedian podcast Stuart Goldsmith and Mawaan Rizwan. As well as starting in ITV’s Next of Kin and the BAFTA-winning Murdered By My Father, Mawaan recently supported Simon Amstell on his UK tour and has amassed over 18 million views of his comedy videos on YouTube.
