Love And War, The Rose Hotel, The Scarletts, Halcyon Days

Love And War- Cerebal 80’s tinged pop, really slick production sorta reminds of Talk Talk in places, has that wistfully psychedelic vibe with under-currents of mid 70’s floyd.

The Rose Hotel- Slinky swaggerings of Jagger of the Some Girls era is very much in the vocal here. Their music takes in Atlantic soul as much as the Stones, brass in there, and some deft guitar picking. Jazz tinged bluesology aplenty.

The Scarletts- Hooky indie rock with an abrasive skuzzed up vibe bit like early Arctic Monkeys, without really sounding like them.
