The Ridouts: Mark, Alex & Tom

In March of 2016, 17 year old trumpet player Alexandara Ridout was named the BBC's Young Musician of the Year in the jazz category. Also among the finalists, her 21 year old brother Tom, who plays saxophone and recorder. Given this result it is hardly a surprise that Dad Mark is a musician as well, a fine guitarist having performed in many of the UK's major jazz venues and festivals with such names as Jimmy Smith, Babara Dennerlein, Natalie Cole, Jane Monheit and Eddie Parker and the BBC Big Band. We're pleased to turn over the stage to this talented family and their special guests.
