This concert by the sea at St Donats Arts Centre is a chance to hear virtuoso musicians perform solo and together.

We are joined by BBC NOW leader Lesley Hatfield, percussionist George Barton and brilliant young harpist Anne Denholm, who was Official Harpist to the Prince of Wales from 2015 to 2019.

In keeping with our venue, the music featured is always atmospheric. It varies from gentle harp music to Huw Watkins’ dramatic solo violin Partita. Folk and traditional music is a key influence, with John Luther Adams’ harp arrangements of Native Alaskan dances closing each half of the concert.

We’re also thrilled to have commissioned a new work for violin and harp from WNO Youth Opera’s composer in residence, Carlijn Metselaar.
