Largs Amateur Operatic Society

LAOS is proud to present its 2016 Show - Evita - a powerful musical which concentrates on the life of Argentine political leader Eva Peron, the second wife of Argentine president Juan Peron. The story follows Eva's early life, rise to power, charity work, and eventual death.

The story is told through a compelling score that mixes haunting chorales with exuberant Latin, pop and jazz influences, and includes the memorable theme Don't Cry for Me, Argentina.
