This concert features three contrasting, yet characteristic Elgar works which were amongst his last great masterpieces: the String Quartet in E minor, Op. 83; the Sonata for Violin & Piano in E minor, Op. 82 and; the Piano Quintet in A minor, Op. 84.
The Brodsky Quartet’s energy and craftsmanship have attracted numerous awards and accolades worldwide, whilst Martin Roscoe’s exceptional piano playing is wellknown to Keswick audiences.
