The SNJO are joined by the wonderful Eddi Reader to richly re-imagine Scotland through uplifting music, evocative song and a truly unmistakable Scottish voice. It’s Eddi’s ability to embed emotion deep within her songs and performances that really sets her apart from her peers. She delivers traditional tunes with the same vigour and spellbinding passion she would with more contemporary songs. Also, her relationship with jazz has been a long one, and it features more prominently in her repertoire than is commonly appreciated.
